These tips will help you choose the right products and safely get ready for your tropical or cold water fish community.

Day 1:
A glass or plastic aquarium and make sure you know the capacity
Gravel and plants
Chlorine neutralizer for tap water OR pH test kit and stabilizer for tank water
Internal or canister (external) filter
A heater for tropical fish, optional for cold water fish but recommended
Day 2:
One or two fish max
Good bacteria to add to water
Day 7:
More fish
